Good evening Western Isles the rain and drizzle is clearing for most of the Western isles with plenty of cloud with some clear spells. Winds gusting 40 mph and todays high of 9.9C

Overnight – An overcast night with spells of rain and drizzle. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Cloudy with some further spells of rain heavy and slow moving at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – Winds easing and staying overcast with some sunny spells. Further spells of rain and drizzle.

Winds will be from from the North and North East. Temps of 2C to 10C

Tuesday – Winds easing but sleet and snow showers. Winds will be from the North East. Temps of 2C to 6C

Wednesday – Further sleet and snow showers with winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Easterly winds. Temps of 1C to 5C

Thursday and Friday – Sunshine and showers wintry again at times. Winds will be from the North and North East. Temps of 1C to 5C

Next weekend -Sunshine and cloud with light winds.
