This evening heavier rain will move in during the evening with some sleet and snow at times. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 to 60 mph possibly 70 mph in some exposed coastal locations for Lewis and Harris this evening. Temps of 1C to 9C. The snow could showers could result in some temporary accumulations.
Thursday – Rain and showers with winds gusting 40 to50 mph to 60 mph first thing in the morning.
Friday and Saturday – Sunshine and showers these wintry at times. Winds easing.
