Good evening Western Isles on this Friday evening we are seeing rain and showers across parts of the Western Isles. Plenty of cloud. Winds gusting 30 mph and today’s high of 13.7C

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud with scattered heavy showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Plenty of cloud. Some sunshine at times. Rain will slowly edge in from the West during the later afternoon. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mph for Uist and Barra.

Evening – Rain will move further across the Western Isles. This will be heavy at times. The cloud will dominate. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the South and South East. Temps of 6C to 13C
