Good evening Western Isles on this Thursday evening we are seeing rain and showers moving across the Western isles heavy in places. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 13.4C

Overnight – Spells of heavy rain will sweep across the islands. This will be heavy and at times intense rainfall. Plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph

Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and cloud with scattered showers heavy at times but becoming drier and brighter. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds of 10 to 30 mph

Evening – A mixture of sunshine and cloud. Mainly dry. Winds under 20 mph.

Winds will be from the South West shifting North West later. Temps of 4C to 14C

South Uist – 05:59 and 21:25

Outlook

Saturday – Sunshine and cloud with light winds. Temps of 5C to 10C

Sunday – Overcast with scattered showers later. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 7C to 14C

Monday and Tuesday – Spells of rain heavy at times. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Temps of 7C to 12C
