Good evening Western isles on this Sunday evening a mixture of sunshine and cloud with some rain and showers moving in. WInds under 20 mph and today’s high of 15C so far

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud with some rain and showers moving into Uist and Barra. Some mist and low cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning – Sunshine and cloud with some rain and showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon – Further rain will move across the Western isles this will be heavy in places. The cloud will dominate with some sunny spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – The heaviest of the rain will clear away to sunshine and cloud. winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Winds will be from the East and South East. Temps of 8C to 15C

Tuesday – Dry start but heavy rain will move in later. Winds lighter for Lewis and Harris but gusting 40 to 50 mph for Uist and Barra. Winds from the East and South East. Temps of 8C to 16C

Wednesday – Further spells of rain and staying windy for most of the day. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph possibly stronger for a time in the morning. Some sunny spells. Winds will be from the South East. Temps of 8C to 14C

Thursday and Friday – Further spells of rain heavy at times. Showery with some sunny spells. Winds gusting 20 to 40 mph. Temps of 9C to 13C

Next weekend – Staying unsettled with further rounds of rain.
