Good evening Western Isles on this Monday evening we are seeing a mainly fine and dry end to the day. Some light rain and drizzle. Winds gusting 30 mph and today’s high of 12.9C

Overnight – Clear skies and cloud with some patchy light rain and drizzle. Winds gusting 30 mph.

Morning – Sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph with some gusts reaching 50 mph.

Afternoon – Cloud builds in with some rain pushing into Uist and Barra. Some sunny spells with a few scattered showers elsewhere. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 mp.

Evening – Heavy and persistent rain will sweep across the Western isles. Some spots will have intense rainfall over a short period of time. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 8C to 16C
