Wednesday’s forecast – Further rain

Good evening Western Isles on this Tuesday evening we are seeing heavy and persistent rain moving across the islands. Winds gusting 20 to 30 mph and today’s high of 15C

Overnight – Spells of rain and showers heavy at times. Some clear skies and plenty of cloud. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and cloud. Some decent and prolonged sunshine at times. Showers these becoming more scattered during the afternoon but will be heavy at times. Wind of 20 to 40 mph.

Evening – Again sunshine and cloud before another band of heavy rain will move across the islands as the evening goes on. Winds of 20 to 40 mph gusting 50 mph.

Winds will be from the South and South West shifting South East later in the day. Temps of 8C to 16C

Thursday – Sunshine and cloud with rain and drizzle. Winds gusting 40 to 50 mph. Temps of 9C to 12C
