Tuesday

Overnight – Plenty of cloud with spells of rain and drizzle. Heavy at times. Some clear spells. Winds of 20 to 40 mph. Some gusts reaching 50 mph but the winds will largely ease as the night goes on.

Morning and afternoon – Sunshine and cloud with some scattered occasionally heavy rain. Some rain and drizzle at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Evening – Sunshine and cloud with clear skies after sunset. Showers increasing in frequency and becoming heavy at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph.

Winds will be from the South West. Temps of 11C to 15C

South Uist – 04:50 and 22:20

Wednesday and Thursday

We will see some decent spells of sunshine with scattered showers these will be heavy at times with variable amounts of cloud. Winds will be from the West and South West around 20 to 40 mph on Wednesday but under 20 mph on Thursday. Temps of 11C to 16C

We are going to see more in the way of sunshine because the weather is now more mobile after being stuck in a rut during the last week or so. Which will hopefully help to increase our very low sunshine totals of the month so far.

Friday

Sunshine and cloud with some morning rain and showers. With winds from the West and North West. Temps of 11C to 16C

Saturday

A long way off as yet so things can and will change but Saturday is looking like a fairly breezy day with sunshine and showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 12C to 18C
