Welcome to the second Hebcelt Festival forecast. This was due to come out on Monday but it ended up being a busier day than I expected. So here we are with a look at the forecast for the whole festival. I still plan on doing daily updates over the course of the festival.
Wednesday
A day of sunshine and cloud with a few scattered showers. Some light rain and drizzle at times. But some decent and prolonged sunshine in the breaks in the cloud. Winds gusting 40 mph early in the morning but easing under 20 mph to end the day. Winds will be from the West and South and temps of 10C to 15C
Thursday
At the moment looks like being a day of sunshine and showers but we are expecting to see a band of rain move across the island during the course of Thursday. At this stage, it is expected to track further to the South so the worst of any rainfall would miss the festival site but things will change. In between some decent spells of sunshine. Winds under 20 mph from the West and South West. Temps of 11C to 16C
Friday
Sunshine and cloud. A few scattered showers but mainly staying dry. Some decent spells of sunshine in the breaks in the cloud. Winds under 20 mph from the North West. Temps of 10C to 16C
Saturday
A long way off as yet so things will change but looking like an overcast day with spells of rain and showers. Heavy at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the South and South West. Temps of 9C to 16C
