Hebridean Celtic Festival forecast 2022 Number 3

Welcome to the latest Hebridean Celtic Festival forecast. Today is the first day of events with the main arena programme starting tomorrow. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend of music and live events.

For the rest of Wednesday, we are going to see plenty of cloud with some sunshine at times with further spells of rain and drizzle. This heavy at times. Increasing amounts of sunshine into the evening but scattered showers these heavy at times. Winds of 10 to 30 mph from the West and South West easing under 20 mph to end the day. Temps of 9C to 14C

Another day of sunshine and showers. These most frequent in the morning and afternoon. Some heavier rain is expected to move across the island during the afternoon but the worst of the rain is expected to be South of Stornoway. Increasing amounts of sunshine in the afternoon. Still a few lingering showers for the evening’s events but becoming brighter. Winds will be from the West and South West around 10 to 25 mph. Temps of 11C to 16C

Looks set to be the best day of the weekend with fine dry and settled weather. Plenty of sunshine with variable amounts of cloud. The odd scattered shower cannot be ruled out. Winds under 20 mph from the North West. Temps of 10C to 16C

We are going to see an overcast day. High pressure declines away. Spells of rain and drizzle are likely during the afternoon and evening. Some uncertainty yet over exact timings. Winds are also expected to strengthen gusting 20 to 40 mph by the end of the day from the South West. Temps of 9C to 16C
