Good evening Western Isles on this Sunday evening are seeing rain moving across South Uist and barra with plenty of cloud and some clear skies. Winds under 20 mph and today’s high of 18.2C at Stornoway Met Office site.
This evening temperatures are still widely around 15C to 17C so quite a warm end to the day up in the islands.
Monday
We are likely to see our highest temperatures of the year so far on Monday widely across the islands with 20C possible during the day

Overnight – We are going to see further rain moving across the Western Isles. Heavy at times Plenty of cloud. Some drizzle in places but for most becoming dry before the end of the night. Overnight low of 12C
Morning and afternoon – Any morning rain and drizzle will clear away. It should be largely fine and dry but a few heavy scattered showers are possible. Some decent and prolonged spells of sunshine at times but depending on how stubborn the cloud is to shift will have a bearing on how high the temperatures will get. There is also a risk of mist and low cloud spreading in which also could hinder temperatures. Winds under 20 mph.
Evening – Again sunshine and cloud with light winds. Some decent and prolonged sunshine with some mist and low cloud. Winds under 20 mph.
Winds will be from variable directions and temps of 12C to 21C

Outlook
Tuesday and Wednesday – Some uncertainty as yet but looks like being a mixture of sunshine and cloud. Feeling warm again on Tuesday with high teen temps. Showers that will at times be heavy and possibly thundery. Winds will be from the South West under 20 mph. Temps of 11C to 19C
The Met Office also brings up the risk of possibly thundery showers later in the week

Next weekend – Lots of uncertainty as yet depending on the position of low pressure. But it at this stage it’s looking unsettled.
