Saturday 23rd July Weather forecast for the Western Isles.

Good evening Western isles on this Friday evening we are seeing an overcast evening with some patchy rain and drizzle. Winds under 20 mph. Today’s high of 16C

Overnight – A cloud dominating night with some patchy rain but for most staying dry. Winds under 20 mph.

Morning – A dry start rain will start to feed in from the South becoming heavy at times and slow moving. Winds of 20 to 40 mph.

Afternoon and evening – Bands of rain will sweep across the Western Isles. These heavy and intense at times. Heaviest for Uist and Barra. Plenty of cloud. Occasional sunny spells with some dry spells. Turning showery into the late evening. A chance of some of these showers turning thunder. Winds of 10 to 30 mph gusting 40 to possibly 50 mph for Uist and Barra.

Winds will be from the East and South East. Temps of 12C to 16C
