Thursday morning forecast

Good morning Western Isles this is your morning briefing, On this Thursday morning we are seeing plenty of cloud with some rain and drizzle across South Uist and Barra. Winds gusting 40 mph and overnight low of 11.9C

Today – Plenty of cloud with some sunshine at times. Spells of rain and drizzle. A few scattered showers. Winds of 20 to 40 mph easing under 20 mph for Lewis and Harris but staying gusty for Uist and Barra. Winds will be from the South and South West shifting South East later. Temps of 11C to 14C

Friday – Morning rain heavy at times with winds gusting 40 to 50 mph then rain and showers gusting 20 to 40 mph.

Saturday – Sunshine and cloud with rain moving in later in the day. Lighter winds for a time but increasing later in the day.

Monday – Sunshine and showers with winds of 20 to 40 mph.
